LIKE is an hour long film and will be followed with discussion and comments led by mental health advocates. The intended audience is middle school, high school, young adults, and parents. Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in the United States. In fact, Texas has the second most trafficking cases in the U.S. It can happen in any community and victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality. This important community event will provide education on the issue of human trafficking and what you can do to protect all residents of Comfort.

Positive Parenting is open to anyone who cares about our community’s school kids. During this important event, you will learn about the challenges of parenting in a digital world and proven-effective strategies to keeping kids safe.

During this informative session, our panel guests will disucss conterfeit drugs in Kendall County containing the lethal narcotic fentanyl. All CISD parents are encouraged to attend.
